Mathematics and music are abstracted languages and are therefore subject to poetic expression. Riana looks at how the process of discovery is mediated through the development of language, as in the case of Leibniz, who took Aristotelian terminology—which was aimed at destroying Plato's ideas—and turned it on its head.
